White Sands is the name of the place. It is a virtual world and its creators, Brandon Brown and Adam Hollander, hope that users will soon be living in an alternate reality. The space in this metaverse has been subdivided and users can now acquire land and construct their own home through the interface of the well-known Minecraft game. But that's not all they'll also be capable of driving off-road vehicles as well as fly in a hot balloon, go to comedy shows and buy NFT's to equip themselves in this new world. Mega Blog

In an interview with Fox News last week, Hollander explained how the metaverse works: "We launched White Sands as a concept about one month ago. NFTWorlds supports it. There are 10,000 worlds which are unlimited in size and scope. Every person, every company and every project has the ability to acquire an entire world and build on it to create interactive experiences based on the Minecraft engine, which is used by 170 million people every month... All worlds are interconnected and at any time you could be playing golf in virtual reality, the next day, you could decide to save a princess from a dragon and the next day you could be attending an important business meeting. Ultimately you will require a location to return to in the middle of this interconnected metaverse which never ceases to expand."

THE KEY IS IN THE GAMIFICATION

Hollander said that the company had sold its first batches a few weeks ago. It is about $4 million in revenue. According to the entrepreneur gamification is gamification or the integration of games into the virtual world. The entrepreneur was director of gaming at Microsoft (current owner of Minecraft) between 2015 and 2017. Prior to launching White Sands he participated in the creation of Hungry Wolves , a collection of 6,000 virtual wolves who can compete against each other.

White Sands is a clear indication that there are people willing and able to invest in virtual properties. Hollander adds that he sold three thousand land parcels and made millions of dollars to fund the project, which he is now reinvesting. We announced a few days ago that 50 developers were going to be working full-time for the project. We'll build more houses that users can build and we will also be able to offer interactive experiences, customisations, and even customizations like moving vehicles, pets and furniture. This will be an experience where you will feel like you have a piece in an ever-growing metaverse .

White Sands isn't the only project of its kind. You only need to look at NFTWorlds in order to see that the metaverses are growing more diverse and robust. This is why brands have already begun exploring the possibilities of interacting with potential customers.
