I ran my minecraft launcher by way of curseforge to download a modpack (1.16.5), and the obtain velocity on the launcher seems to be about 3mb per/s and it's taken about 10 minutes to download 4mbs out of a 300 mb download. This is way too sluggish compared to my actual wifi speeds. Minecraft kitpvp servers What am i presupposed to do to fix it?

Was the modpack big?

If it's a well-liked modpack then it seemingly is taking some time, with 100s or just mods with say 10+MB (either or each) it's not surprising.

Attempt downloading a smaller pack and see what happens. Or create your individual and check it (additionally if it's downloading the model and other version obligatory recordsdata earlier than the mods and all the pieces else that's also doubtless).

Now, what I would do is hook up with Hardwired Wi-Fi, because it is way quicker. Now if that doesn't work, it could be the mob your making an attempt to launch with forge. In case you have a tons of mods, its would usually take 10 - 15 min to load you up. Now thats what I understand of this.
