Minecraft has landed on the Oculus Rift as a part of a free update to the Home windows 10 Edition beta. Anybody who owns the Computer or Mac model of Minecraft is mechanically granted entry to the Home windows 10 beta model; hit up Mojang to sign up and start taking part in.

We tried out the Oculus Rift model of Minecraft again in March and located it to be completely delightful.

"It is the most effective and extra immersive VR experiences I've had to this point," senior editor Nathan Ingraham wrote. "In actual fact, that lack of tremendous element really helps Minecraft be so successful -- the game does not attempt to mimic reality. Instead, it felt extra like I stepped into a cartoon."

Minecraft is already playable on the Samsung Gear VR, although that's restricted to the features of the Pocket Edition. The Oculus Rift model options help for the Xbox One controller plus keyboard and mouse, and gamers' VR-particular settings are saved separately from their conventional Minecraft world. Dein freund

Mojang developer Tommaso Checchi tweeted on Thursday that the Oculus Rift version of Minecraft would land some time this week, although he didn't disclose an exact date. Blissful Monday, everybody.
