Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating recordbreaking Tourism Entry Counts from the United States

NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a four percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This is an increase of 13% from 2019.



Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to see the growth in Israeli tourism from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking figures for 2019, he said. "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, we were celebrating record-breaking tourism entry numbers each month. We're so happy to see an improvement in the trend and we anticipate an upswing for the many months and years to come."
