Microsoft Teases New Xbox Game With Popular Developer Hideo Kojima

Microsoft said it's partnered with the renowned game maker Hideo Kojima, who is the director of hit games such as Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding for the Xbox video game console. Presta Live announced the partnership in a recorded message but did not provide any details about the game's name or the date it will be released.



"It could take a while," Kojima said through an interpreter during the announcement. Just another wordpress site and leader of Kojima Productions is known for making sure that he makes high-quality games, which sometimes can take many years. Kojima suggested that Microsoft's cloud gaming technology could be a major component of the game, stating that it's a game he's "always wanted to make."



Microsoft's announcement came as part of its annual summer announcement event, which included announcements of the upcoming action game Minecraft Legends and the space adventure game Starfield, both coming next year. Microsoft also used the event to reveal details about forthcoming releases of upcoming titles like Activision Blizzard's online battle game Overwatch 2 and its next big dungeon horror title, Diablo 4.



Kojima's team is also working on a sequel to its popular PlayStation game, Death Stranding.
