Just like with Vanilla server you may make a launch.command file Heres a one I threw collectively based on the code above

Just unzip and drop it into the identical folder you've got the FTB.jar in and double click on. If you get an error saying it would not have permission, open a new terminal window type in without the quotes "sudo chmod +x (drag launch.command here)" then hit enter. Ensure that you will have a space between the "+x" and the file path.

Have any of you tried merely beginning it with this: Code: cd ~/Desktop/ftb/ java -jar FTB_Launcher.jar

This has labored for me. I discover it weird though that the game cannot run with out starting it this fashion. Particularly because it doesn't throw any errors, however merely closes... Have anybody investigated the trigger for the odd behavior when launching the jar by double clicking it, or is it nonetheless a thriller why it acts the way it does?

You'll be able to open the terminal in two methods: - Go to Finder, click on "Functions", scroll down to "Utilities" and double click on to open it. Scroll all the way down to "Terminal" and double click on it.- Hit Command + House (to open spotlight) and type "Terminal" (without the quotes).
