How Do I Update Minecraft

From Love's Story

- Fixed critical security issue that allowed attackers to execute code from other devices (RCE Exploit). This could be done via in-game messaging, or other methods in which the game logs an exploitable string as $jndi?ldap due a log-upstream vulnerability., because of an upstream vulnerability in the log.

Fog:

To make distant terrain more visible, world fog is now further away from the player. Servers Fog is now applied in a cylindrical form instead of being a spherical mass.

Additions

Music Disc – Lena Raine added a new music CD titled "otherside". - Only occasionally found in stronghold corridor chests. The disc's ring area is blue-green in color.

World generation:

- Caves - Completely overhauled. - Now stretch down to Y=-59. The caves now have 2 layers of different bases depending on their depth. - The layer below Y=8 is made of regular stones. - From Y=8 to 0, stone can be transformed into deepslate. Deepslate can completely replace stone, Y=0 to Y=0. Deepslate can still produce certain types of ores and structures, as well as tuff or gravel. - Dirt, diorite, granite and andesite do not generate in this layer.

- Aquifers below Y=0 sometimes generate with lava instead of water.

- Cheese caves have large stone towers stretching from the bottom of the cave to the top, and are often large enough to allow safe elytra flight. - Spaghetti caves are long, thin caves that have small aquifers and are more similar to original caves. Noodle caves are thinner and more claustrophobic versions of spaghetti caves.

- Available in 6 sub-biomes. - Meadow – A grassy elevated biome that looks similar to a flowery and cooler plains. It has an aqua grass color with dark blue water.

- Usually found in plateaus and at the base of some mountains, but also near other temperate biomes. - It contains tall grass, grasses, dandelions and azurebluets, cornflowers and poppies, as well as daisies, daisies, daisies, daisies, daisies, and alliums. - This biome is not able to support birch trees and oak trees, but they do have bee nests. - Only rabbits, donkeys, and sheep spawn in this biome. This biome can produce plains villages and pillager outposts.

- Generates in the slopes of a snowy mountain when next to forested biomes. It is similar to a snowy taiga but with a more snowy surface and powdered snow instead of grass blocks. This biome can be home to rabbits, wolves and foxes as well as sheep, pigs (chickens, chickens, and pigs). This biome can also be used to generate pillar outposts.

- Generates in the slopes of a mountain when next to plains and snowy tundra. - In snow, snowblock and powder snow. This biome is only suitable for goats and rabbits. This biome is suitable for generating igloos or pillager outposts.

- One biome that generates in the mountain peaks. - Covered with snow, snow blocks, or stone. - Tends to generate in sharp and jagged peaks in areas with snowy, cold, and temperate biomes. This biome is only for goats. This biome can also be used to generate pillar outposts.

- One of three biomes that generate in the mountain peaks. - Covered with snow, snow blocks and ice. - Produces smoother, more uniform peaks in areas with low temperatures, snow, and cold biomes. This biome is only suitable for goat spawning. - Pillager outposts can generate in this biome.

- One of the three biomes that produce in the mountain peaks. - Covered in stone, gravel, and strips of calcite. To avoid temperature clashes, the peak tends to generate in areas that are surrounded with warm biomes like jungles and savannas. - No animals spawn in this biome. This biome can be generated by Pillager outposts.

- Rare ore formations that are long and complex. - Copper ore veins mixed with granite and blocks of raw copper generate above Y=0. - Iron ore veins mixed with tuff and blocks of raw iron generate below Y=0.

Upgrading of old worlds

Terrain from new pieces will now blend with terrain from old pieces. These chunks will contain any player-made structures. They can be buried, buried, or deteriorated. The old bedrock layer between the Y=0-Y=4 of old chunks is replaced with deepslate. If there is any bedrock at the Y=0 level, new world generation will create lower areas under non-air blocks in old chunks. Y=-64 is the location of a new layer of bedrock.

Command format

/jfr

- When enabled, begins profiling with Java FlightRecorder, as well as the following custom events: - minecraft.ServerTickTime: Sampling event exposing average server tick times in intervals of a second - minecraft.ChunkGeneration: Time taken to generate individual chunk stages - minecraft.PacketRead / minecraft.PacketSent: Network traffic - minecraft.WorldLoadFinishedEvent: Initial world loading duration

- Advancements – Added 4 new advancements: Caves & Cliffs – Fall from the Top to the Bottom of the Overworld.

Ride a strider through lava to reach 50 blocks of the Overworld.

- In a meadow biome, you can make music using a jukebox.

- Trade with a villager at the build height limit.

- Triggered when a player falls - ride_entity_in_lava. - Triggered every tick when a player rides in lava.

- Debug Screen - Added three lines: terrain, biome builder, multinoise. - This line will only appear if the dimension in which the player is located uses the multi-noise source type of biome. Multinoise lists the parameters that are used to place a biome at the player's location. C is continentalness, E is erosion, T is temperature, H is humidity, and W is weirdness. - The more you travel inland, the higher your continentalness. Oceans may be generated in areas with low levels of continentality. Erosion is a measure of how flat or mountainous a terrain is. Higher values mean flatter areas and lower values mean more mountainous terrain. The terrain is not affected by temperature and humidity. They only affect biome placement. - Weirdness indirectly drives the PV (peaks and valleys) noise and determines which biome variant gets placed.

Font

- Added illageralt, the rune-like font from Minecraft Dungeons. - At the moment, only commands are allowed to access this feature.

Languages

- Added Lombard. [note 1] [note 2]

Loot tables

[note3] - Lena Raine: "Stand Tall", Left to Bloom", One More Day", Wending, and "Infinite Amethyst". "Stand Tall," plays in the snowy and jagged peaks biomes. "Left to Bloom", which plays in the meadow, lush caves biomes, and the menu screen. "One More Day," which is also available on the menu screen, plays in the meadow, snowy peaks and lush caves biomes. - "Wending" plays in the grove, jagged peaks, stony peaks and dripstone caves biomes, as well as the menu screen. "Infinite Amethyst", which plays in the grove, dripstone caves biomes and the menu screen.

"Floating Dream" is found in the jagged peaks of the lush caves biomes. "Comforting Memories," plays in the grove ecome. "An Ordinary Day", plays in the snowy slopes and lush caves biomes.

NBT tags

- Spawners now have a new CustomSpawnRules tag, which lets players override the spawn rules of the spawned mob. BlockLightLimit can be added to the tag. This indicates the block-light at which spawners will spawn mobs.

There are many options

- Can now disable lightning flashes. This stops lightning from making the sky flash. Lightning bolts will still be visible. - You can now choose the device that outputs audio to in-game. - Added "Chunk Builder", video settings. - This determines which chunk sections are updated simultaneously in a single frame. - Three options: Fully Blocking, which corresponds to how chunk sections were updated before 21w37a, and Semi Blocking and Threaded, which reduce stuttering when placing or removing blocks. However, the last two options could cause some visual delays in world update updates.

- Entities, blocks, and fluids cannot be updated beyond the simulation distance. Allows for a greater render distance at a lower CPU load. - 5 chunks is the lower limit.

- The indicator is located in the bottom right corner of the screen when the game is saving the file. Defaults to on

- The "Realms Notifications” option has been moved onto this screen. - This screen now contains the "Allow Server Listings” option. - The player name will no longer appear in the online player listings if it is deactivated.

Particles
